I was excited to try this restaurant because the ratings are so high, but was disappointed. I ordered rice with eel and vegetables. Too much rice and not enough eel and vegetables. Also, the eel was quite fatty. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing. Also, this is more of a take-out place as they don't have customer washrooms and I had to walk over to Tim Horton's. The family who owns the restaurant are lovely though. Kudos to the little girl who served us. She provided amazing customer service.
One of these days I'm going to try this place at 5 PM instead of 9 PM. It's very good but I always seem to go just before they're about to close. Not saying that it was bad but just want to try it for actual dinner. Had the spicy onion and beef and it was good. The rice is really good. The mayo type sauce for the spring roll is tasty as well.
Visited for the very first time and loved the service, a hidden gem actually. Prices were fair, portions were great and most importantly the food was delicious. Fresh and delicious ingredients, flavors were authentic and simply perfect. Definitely will be going back to try everything else on the menu
This family run restaurant is one of the first places we tried after moving to town. The portions are generous, the owners are friendly, the prices are reasonable, and the food is always good. I particularly like the spicey sauce.
Ordered the short ribs and it was absolutely delicious. Very impressed with the quality, taste and the price is amazing. The owner is very friendly and helped us decide on what to order too. He cares about the quality of food. Even the customers inside were raving about how good it is. Great customer service by the family! I love family owned shops like this.
