Ordered Cheese burger and poutine. burger was good. 7/10 but poutine was terrible 1/10. poutine made with McCains frozen crinkle cut fries or something similar for $9.65 . nothing like what is shown in photos. would not recommend fries or poutine
I have been ordering in advance for pickup since the pandemic started and now they stopped taking phone orders and you have to use skip or Uber for pick up. I am not paying extra through those companies. Maybe Ajax does phone orders, might be the last time using this location. The one star is for not providing better customer service / ease of access to their products during the pandemic. The quality of the food has always been great.
I've been living in Pickering for 12 years looking for a great burger. At last I've found it! Been to Big Boys,The Big M, North End Burger, Appachie, Wimpys, Nick's Grill, Pete's burgers and all the regular fast food spots around. This one is it! Best tasting burger that I can remember eating. Went last week for the first time and have been back 4 times since then. Excellent, friendly service, awesome fries and the gravy is so good it brings it all together. So glad I took time to check it out. Make sure you add the bacon and cheese, oh! So good. Thanks for coming to Pickering Retro Burger and keep up the excellent job. I haven't tried the souvleki yet but that will be next, along with another banquet burger of course. Do yourself a favour and get a bacon cheeseburger you won't regret it.
Count your change when paying with cash. I realized when I returned home that he gave me change to $25.00 when I actually gave him $30.00. Don't be fooled by the 'over friendly' sevice. I got caught. I won't be returning.
the fries were great. but the cheese on the burger was not melty once they put on the cold ingredients. it was curdled and made the rest of the burger cold! :( i did not enjoy it! sorry! i think you should change the cheese!! the service was friendly though!
From I stepped into the door until I left amazing customer service the steak on a bun was soooo flavorful and they were so helpful they helped me with my baby on opening the doors for me. I will ALWAYS come back here if I could give them more than 5 stars I would :)
Worst place I have ever been to... Big M actually has home made burgers not this frozen junk. Follow on your response... who calls a customer a moron... and how low of quality of meet or how much filler do you use for the price. Hahaha what a joke this restaurant is and who ever is responding to the customers. First few reviews went good I guess from your friends Haha What a joke Funny you edited call me a moron...
