I really enjoyed my visit, food was very good and service was amazing. This time Imalsha was helping us and it was really on top of our order and food.
Every single time I order take out from these people they always forget to put the drinks in the bag. I get that it is a really hard task to ensure customers get what they pay for but maybe some retraining is needed?
Similar to the previous review, we ordered our food through telephone and spoke to a woman who did not seem to be very happy to be answering our call to say the least. We could hear typing in the background and she kept asking us to repeat our order as she seemed distracted. We finally got our order placed and she didn’t ask for any information (name, phone number, etc) and did not tell us a time it would be ready. We made our way over there to pick up our order about 15 mins later. A lady (with the same voice and attitude as the one on the phone) came up to us and we said we placed an order. She immediately said no order came through here and we “100% called the other pickering location”. We showed her and one of the chefs the phone number we called (not to mention we were certain we spoke to her with that attitude) and they confirmed it was the correct phone number we called but they had no record of our order. The lady said she would re take our order there and they made it pretty quickly which was nice. The lady took a personal call while we were paying and was not speaking very professionally or kindly. The wings were really good, no complaints there. My partner got a side of fries and said they were not seasoned at all which he was disappointed with. Overall, not the best experience to say the least. Felt like we were more of a burden vs a welcomed customer. I appreciate them trying to make it right, unfortunately the front end lady’s attitude wasn’t great and made the experience less than inviting. Disappointed as we’ve been here once before for take in and it was a great experience.
Ordered on uber eats as pick up, went to store to pick up and they told me it was at another location. How can something I ordered on uber eats be at another location when it clearly states this location?!? The waitress seemed like she was in a bad mood and didn't want to be there and the chef came out to tell me no ordered came through. Ridiculous!
Server was more interested in chatting with friends and eating her own food then assisting us. When I asked if she could come to me so that I didn’t have to yell across the restaurant that my kids food wasn’t cooked, she looked in pleased and did not want to walk over. My burger was cold and the cheese was disgusting on my burger not even melted and tasted like rubber. All our fries were ice cold.
Honestly was surprised on how small the dine in was. But service was amazing. The food tasted so good. Definitely recommend this location. Ended up upgrading my fries to poutine and it was perfect.
Very impressed, New ownership, very clean and well stocked bar. I had given up on this location a few months ago. I am very happy to return now given that there is a fresh new vibe.
