brisket was insanely dry and was pretty much just roast beef. The burnt ends were borderline inedible being dry and hard as a rock. Not a shred of fat in either. Portion was also really small for the price with only 2.3 slices of brisket and 3 pieces of burnt ends for the competition plate.
The ambiance of the restaurant really complemented the meal, making it a wonderful dining experience portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality food was amazing and fresh?
Absolutely gross. The restaurant was gross and looked like it had never been cleaned. People running it definitely didn’t know what they were doing. Also looks like they sell products from Costco, likely ripping their own franchise off. See this everywhere in Canada now.
I have to say this, it's the best meal I have ever eaten since dinning out. Come on down to Dickeys and enjoy the delectable meat there. Best melt in your mouth marinated chicken breast and barbbque chicken. We were out on appointments finished and had to go to a next, so we did not feel like returning back home to get back out, so myself and husband decided to try something new, as we would always do whenever we're out on the road. I looked up and saw Dickeys because we weren't far from there, man, it was great, we split the competition plate because it was the first time dinning there and we did not know what we were getting into. It was great, no regrets, the best marinated meat ever. Just give dickeys one try, you will return always. Yummy, finger linking and mouth watering and MELT IN YOUR MOUTH MEAT. ?❤ Great food
Ordered by phone, ordered the pit and dip, the Dickey dog no mustard, and some sides. After getting home we realized the order didn’t include the Au jus dipping sauce, and the hotdog didn’t include any onions and only gave half a piece of ripped up cheese. When we called back about our order, server said they were out of the dipping sauce, so they basically sold us the item knowing they were already out of the sauce. For a $15 hotdog this is pathetic. I was the only customer who ordered in, no dinner rush so no excuse for a messed order this bad. Server was in a conversation via blue tooth headphones the entire time. We tipped on the order, and when we called back about the missing items, all they could give us was a free side on our next visit. Will not be recommending this place to anyone.
Their food is full of flavors and mouthwatering. Tried chicken burger and it was scrumptious. Their briskets are juicy and flavorful. Even sides(macNcheese,bbq beans) were super tasty.
First time here (halal meat). The portion and price for 2 brisket poutines were good. Bought the refillable cup for 3.50 so 1 to refill going again The seasoning of salt&pepper I tasted more than the meat. I will go 1 more time to try 2 more things before I make up my mind. To me, Pig Out and Horn Dawgs are still closer. They should add bacon to their poutine.
