What an absolute treat we had tonight visiting Chuk! The building caught our eye a couple of months ago but we were finally able to come and enjoy the amazing vibe and food here. The tacos were delicious, that ginger ale is lovely and the coffee and dessert ended off the evening so well! (Thank you for finding milk for our coffee!) Keep up the beautiful work you are doing guyswe need more of this in Pickering/Ajax:)Ok so I came back with another friend for lunch here today and I can say the experience was still superb! Yum! Beef sandwich was amazing and that cassava cake & coconut ice-cream is addictive!
I was afraid that this would be a place I was really excited about and then wouldn't live up to the hype - but it wasn't the case at all! I was blown away by the quality, portions and flavour of everything we got. The place is beautiful inside. Our server was fantastic, super knowledgeable about the food and ingredients. It's not particularly cheap but it's well worth the price with everything being local and humanely raised. Will definitely be back.
What an amazing experience! The atmosphere was clean, relaxing, and authentic! Jerry was our server and he was helpful, attentive and took the time to answer our questions. The food was fresh, flavourful and just all round good Mexican food! Would I go back? Yes, I would recommend this to other people.Thank you for a wonderful evening, we had such a nice time! Check this place out, you wont regret it!!
You must try this place! We stumbled upon it a few months ago and have been back 5 times. Delicious food, amaaaazing cocktails, and a great atmosphere. Loved the patio during the summer months! They really try to offer a unique dining experience and take great pride in each menu item. New favourite place!
I have visited this establishment a few times and the food has never been disappointing. Delicious and flavourful.Portions and pricing are fair. The pricing reflects the quality of ingredients being used and the overall presentation of the various menu items. However, despite having made a reservation, we were advised by the restaurant that we would only have an hour and a half time limit for dinner due to the arrival of another reservation which management had to accommodate. In the midst of dinner, the wait staff hovered making us feel uncomfortable and rushed and it was clear that the hour and a half we had been quoted did not allow for a buffer time in which the waitstaff could set for the next reservation. The wait staff had even offered to pack one of our dinners to go when it was evident that we were still eating dinner.Overall, the dining experience was disappointing and did not do justice to the good food. I will be returning as I do enjoy the food - please bring back the braised beef.Kind regards.
