I must have been unlucky. Sent an-e-mail requesting a quote for 2 properties, 3 cars, boat and 2 ATV's. Long story short I would have expected this to be a nice piece of business for someone to have. This was not the case with these folks. Sent an e-mailing outlining what I needed insurance for, no reply after 2 weeks. Followed up with a phone call, they seemed confused about what happens with their online quote request system.... "not sure where it goes", but they were very apologetic. Spoke to the receptionist, she told me to hold on while she put me in touch with one of the reps, the call disconnected, I called back and got the rep, I explained what I was looking for. She promised to send out an e-mail to start the quoting process. Two days later no e-mail so I called asking about the e-mail....... "you didn't get it?" "it must have had something to do with out new IP address", I'll resend it. I told her not to bother.Based on the above I can't imagine what it would be like once I was a customer... Mistakes, excuses, and little understanding of what's going on. Plenty of warning signals for me to stay clear.

The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. I have recommended Newman Oliver and McCarten to several of my friends and family already. I have my car and snowmobile insurance with them currently, and will be putting my home insurance there in the spring.
I phoned and gave them all of my personal information for a quote, and they told me they would get back to me later on Thursday, January 3, or by Friday January 4. By Tuesday, January 8, I still have not heard back from them, and my renewal in January 15th.
