The Pickering office is the worst place you go to for your insurance. The brokers are not true to their word, they will literally say anything to get your business. When you call customer service, every individual has something different to say. I called in to cancel my insurance well in advance and although they already charged first & last month they still went ahead and took an extra payment and refused to refund me back. Allstate will never have my business ever again
The reason why I am leaving this insurance company. It is because of their poor poor customers service . Every time I call my broker. He never answer the phone . I left him voice message he never answer at all. I also called and complained about my broker. But no one cares. Then I called their call centre so they let my broker knows that I need to talk to him about my policy coverage. They said he will call u sometime today and we will tell him to call you. But never called.I have just talked to my broker just once on the first time couple years ago when I first took the insurance. I called for my renewal package to be mailed to my address every almost end of the year. But they never sent it with out me calking them.So please everyone. Be very careful with Pickering Agency. Their might be great people out there as well. But the one I am dealing with is just pain in the butt.
If I could give this company and location a ), I would. Just like the other reviews state this location nor does the company call you back EVER! The only times you hear from them is when you sign up with the company and when you cancelLOL! You guys are a joke. I only heard from you yesterday because my insurance broker sent you guys my cancellation form. After years of being with you guys! ARE YOU KIDDING ME???What do you have to say now when I return your call? Oh, were calling to ask if you really want to cancel with us? Ummm HELL YES! Or for being such a loyal customer, we can give you this? Nope! Im outta herePlease avoid this company at all costs!
We're so happy with our experience switching our home and auto insurance policies over to allstate this week. Our sales agent Cindy went above and beyond for us. We saved so much money switching over! Cindy provided us with amazing customer service. She answered calls at all hours of the day and into the evening and set things up for us in such a timely manner. She was so pleasant to deal with and truly cares about her customers. We will be recommending our friends and family to Cindy in future. Thanks again Cindy and Allstate!
This company has the absolute worst customer service and demonstrates no professionalism.They put up my rates in January 2018. When I called and asked why, the agents says "because everyone is putting them up". Then, when my father passed away, they put up my rates because the multi-vehicle discount no longer applied. Instead of calling me to advise of the change, they just sent a letter advising my insurance was going up by $33/month. When I called them to discuss, they weren't interested in finding trying to find ways of bringing the rate down. Complete lack of empathy for customers dealing with grieve and loss.I've happily switched insurance companies. Wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.
