When I was comparing fuel prices for this specific location using Google's search and mapping service, the advertised price displayed for the fuel was 116$ However, upon my arrival at the station, the actual price displayed at the pump was 126$, which is significantly different and higher than the price advertised online. When I inquired about this discrepancy with the cashier, I was informed that the station does not update the prices listed on Google. This practice of advertising a lower price online and charging a higher price at the point of sale is a clear instance of deceptive advertising and bait-and-switch tactics, which I consider to be unethical and possibly illegal. This is highly unfair to customers who rely on accurate online information to make purchasing decisions. I request that you immediately investigate this matter, correct your online pricing information to reflect the actual prices at the pump, and take appropriate action to prevent such misleading practices in the future. I’ve always had a positive experience at this gas station (and the one down the street by the Tim’s) when I go mostly in the mornings. And whether it’s a young lady or gentleman, Praveen, both are responsive and courteous. Praveen, in particular, handles busy rushes and tricky situations efficiently and with professionalism. It's refreshing to get good customer service at a gas station.
I visited the Petro-Canada car wash for a quick and decent clean, but I was very disappointed. The first time, my car didn’t wash properly—spots were missed, and there was soap left over on the surface. I decided to give it another try, thinking it might’ve been a one-time issue, but the second wash was just as bad. Same poor results, with soap residue still on the car. I won’t be coming back again. Definitely not worth the money.
I had a very disappointing experience at this gas station due to extremely poor customer service, particularly from a South Asian man who claimed to be the General Manager. Rather than listening to my concerns or making any effort to understand the situation, he immediately resorted to accusations. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable—especially from someone in a leadership position. Instead of de-escalating the issue or offering any constructive resolution, he seemed more interested in placing blame than solving the problem. A little professionalism and basic courtesy could have completely changed the outcome of my visit. Management should seriously consider retraining staff on how to handle customer concerns respectfully and appropriately. I hope future customers are treated with more care than I was. This experience has left a lasting negative impression.
Gas station DAMAGED my vehicle!! I came here for a simple wash and left with damage to my car. I spoke to the manager and even have an audio clip of him admitting to the damage!! but Customer Service claims the damage wasn't from them, despite their cameras showing no damage prior to the wash. Absolute scammers, left me high and dry costing me lots of money to repair damage they'd caused. AVOID THIS PETRO AT ALL COSTS!!
Came to get gas in the morning on the way to work stood at the door, knocking and trying to call in the intercom for about 20 minutes. No answer employee was hiding in the washroom.
The guy at the cash did not say Hi, did not ask me if I had a petro-canada card, did not say thank you, he was talking on the phone in another language. Crazy you As a company think this is acceptable. It is extremely rude when you don't acknowledge the customer. Not coming back here anymore.
