The people here are the best around. They are caring and take their time with your pet. They always phone to check up after.
Very impressed with the staff and doctors. You can just tell by talking to them that they love animals. Even though this is their, "crazy busy" season, they still take the time to ensure you know what's up with your pet and what you need to do to maintain their health and happiness.
I have been to many vets in my life with all my animals. My groomer recommended Pickering animal hospital, so I took my Dog there, which I have been taking her for a few years now. I have always thought they were amazing. But I need to express my feelings with my recent visits. My 12 year old Sheltie ended up with some kind of nasal infection. I took her to see Susan and I have never seen a doctor get on the floor to make her feel comfortable. After a thorough exam she gave her some meds. To my surprise she called to see how she was. Two weeks later my little girl got extremely sick. I went back and Melissa was in. She was shocked at how sick she looked. She had tears in her eyes with me. Melissa was very honest with me and puzzled at the same time. She did some test and we are waiting on results. Words cant express how extremely loving these ladies are, and how much they care. This vet gave my 15 year old dog Skate the best last day. They cared how hard it was to say goodbye and let me stay with her as long as I needed. She was very old and sick and now shes out of pain. This service was invaluable. Great vet
