Ken was fantastic to deal with, he went above and beyond to help me out with my Volvo. I will definitely be a returning client if anything like this happens again in the future. I couldn’t be happier with the work that they did.
i paid $490 for a new clutch which is fine than they told me it cost them $130 to machine the “flywheel” but they were trying to charge me $900 i’m not sure why my passenger visor was down when nobody has ever sat passenger in my car i don’t mind them going on a “joyride” but make sure you don’t leave your traces or do not touch something you shouldn’t good work / bad liars / bad communication if your going to charge me $400 on top of that $490 at least call me to inform me what work has to be done.
Good prices but no warranty. Was having issues with the torque converter shuttering and slipping. Took it to them and they confirm the issue and said he would get back to me. Yup, you guessed it, never got back to me or returned my calls.
Old school owner no holds bar type of guy probably would charge his own mother full price very difficult to deal with...my part came from parts source next door driver left part on counter along with delivery invoice there was a %33 mark up on our invoice for the tranny mount I recommend ammco transmission on bayly they rebuild my 5 speed along with a clutch slave cylinder and hardware ....use caution when going to mr transmission good luck..
Perfect for a bandaid job if you want to keep seeing their lovely faces. Transmission blew on me twice within two years after they had their hands in it, which doesn't seem like an uncommon occurence, based on other reviews. Told me the same price to fix what was "fixed" a year and a half ago. Ken's a good guy, but he's a better salesman, and you get what you pay for. Don't fall for the cheapest option and the big smiles if you don't want to end up going back.
Good timely service, transmission rebuilt in 3 days, price was fair and performance is good again. I noticed a small drip the following week and we put it on the hoist to discover transfer case seal was the source of the dripping. The transfer case wasn't part of the job but it was removed to service the transmission. Ken ordered a seal as I waited and installed it two days later at no charge, awesome. The shop blew me away when they diagnosed my lack of 4WD and found a bad vacuum actuator. I tried to pay for the diagnostics and they would not take my money. I can't remember the last time I got a freebie at a shop. Highly recommend Ken, Chris and the staff
Thank you never seems enough when a company goes way above and beyond to help a customer. Ken is one of those special service people we all need. If I could give 6 Stars I would .
