I shop here frequently. I love their super freah and high quality produce and meat selection. The buffet they have there is to die for as well. So much yummy stuff made in house like their pizza, their cookies, their donuts!
I really like this store. It is a nice medium sized store with just enough to get an every day sized shopping trip in. It doesn't have everything that you need in a grocery store but it does hit all the top things to do a shop for the essentials. It is well lit and had plenty of room to move around.Awesome array of meats with various cuts and many frozen and packaged meats available too.They have a dedicated fish and seafood room and counter with many varieties of live fish as well.Great great selection of produce with a very large selection of non typical produce from around the world. Many items that are in season and very competitively priced. I also enjoy the practice of selling off of second quality produce at a reduced price. I don't see much difference of my apples have a few spots on them.One of the main things that people come here for is the face that 20% of the store is there hot food section. It is very fresh and very popular. There is an eating area and lots of seating if you want to stay in the store to eat your lunch. Great sushi counter too.Check outs are not the greatest, and customer service isn't the highest priority. But if you're looking for a store that meets your needs, this could be the one. Produce and meat counter is good. Very much like the deli section, the staff in the deli is very good A1 service and selection of items, fresh! They salads and fresh made sandwich ssection which is very nice. The bakery is good too. The hot table is always busy when I visit the store, which is a good. Watch the flyer for items you use. They have fresh fish and good selection of frozen items. The staff could be a bit more friendly, as I have been ignored while waiting at the meet counter and some are not very approachable. Customer service is not that good.
The store offer almost everything for the daily use. One can get fresh vegitables, fruits, bakery's and then any merchandise you need. The place is short of staff also need training to become fully verse with store. The store accept visa and master card both. It is very convenient for the community around.
A bit smaller than Blue Sky, but you can get in and out quickly. You can get some really good food at their hot table and the sushi is well priced, although very basic. Their soya sauce chicken is pretty good, but their roast pork (with crispy skin) is amazing. We actually compared it to roast pork we picked up in Scarborough at a very well known Chinese BBQ place and it measured up very favourably. Not too bad!
