Nice place to hang out on a bench. Not very busy, clean, and tuesdays have a farmers market!
Went here for ribfest and it was great. A little but overpriced if you are buying a tickets when you go but otherwise it was really nice. Even without the ribfest being there, it's a rather nice area with a library nearby if you want to go inside and read or cool down in the hot air. Great area and it's great during the ribfest season!
Pickering has done a very nice job with this city centre park. The trees have matured and the grounds are well maintained. We were here on Friday evening for the Rotary Club ribfest. It was fun, good live music, games and rides for the kids.
My wife, and I attended the food truck event for sick kids here. We loved it.
Family friendly fun on Canada day. Lots of activities and short lines. What more could you ask. Food as usual is a monstrous ripoff but that's to be expected.
