This is a great place for "suburban" hiking. You can easily get several kilometers of wilderness paths, much more if you walk North and include trails North of 5th Concession. It is a very popular spot for dogs with some great areas for them to jump in the creek. There is a big area designated as "off leash", but most are running free on the entire trail. If your dog isn't social, or your worried about other dogs, keep yours on a leash as you're guaranteed to come across curious K-9's.

Greenwood north is an alright entrance to Greenwood but there are better. Trails north of the road are decent for biking but lots of dog walkers don't pick up after their dogs. Decent fishing but fishing holes are few and far between

Great place for a hike / bike ride / to walk your dog. Please if your walking your dog in the forest have them on leash, it is the rule and appreciated

The trails are by and large supposed to be on-leash areas for dogs but it's pretty well established that dogs are off leash all over. If that's an issue, you need to be prepared for it. I'm there early enough that I basically never encounter anyone that isn't with a dog. My problem with the park is that there are too many jerks who don't pick up after their dogs.

Go to Greenwood quite often with three dogs and usually a family member or a friend of mine. Love hiking the area and the dogs just love going through it. It's a great place to take animals or just take a walk or a hike. Bring water it can get hot and for the pooches you can just walk to any number of streams and they'll just go for a swim. Lots of other dogs are usually around so it's a great area for socolaizing your animals. Highly recommended for walking dogs or walking yourself.
