I had a wonderful experience at Nice One Nails in Pickering. Mike's attention to detail and the quality of his work are outstanding. My nails turned out beautifully — I’ll definitely be coming back! I also recommend Krystal for long sexy nails and French tip pedi! and Amy is sickkkk! You won’t be disappointed ❤️
I am so taken aback by the 1 star reviews. I've been going here for almost 2 years and have always had a great experience. The comments about booking and waiting have me confused. The main reason I love The Nail Shop is how much they prioritize their appointments. It's crazy to me how many people think they can just walk in on a busy weekend and expect a mani and a pedi. And when people do walk in and request that, Amy and Danny look at their system and try their best to get people in. Lastly, I've seen several of the techs there and they are all great, Kelley does a nice sharp almond shape which I love. Don't believe the negative reviews those are clearly people who needed a hug that day.
This was my 1st vist to this nail shop & it will be my last. I read the reviews prior to booking BUT still decided to take a chance. I could've saved myself 2 hours if I went by the reviews. In this day & age, this place should really try to provide a better experience. My appointment was booked online where the price is clearly stated but the nail tech quoted a higher price + $10 extra for french on the manicure at checkout. Had I not shown confirmation of the booking, she would've continued with her final amount. The professionalism here was lacking to say the least, one staff member was getting her nails done & pretty much yelling throughout the location with no regard for other appointments. Another staff member was walking around in booty shorts with her cheeks out, (not what I was paying to ?). There are many nail shops that take pride in what they do & how they do it. This shop won't get another chance from me to see that. A customer pays hard earned money for service & it should not be taken for granted. First impressions are lasting impressions & this shop definitely left one with me ?.
Came here for the first time and will not be coming back. I had to wait 40 MINS for an appointment I already had booked! Nails started chipping the day after and 5 of them broke by first week. Went back to get them fixed only for them to start chipping and breaking again within 3 days of fixing
I’ve been a loyal customer here for over a year, always on time and always tip but after today I won’t be returning. My mom and I had 1 PM mani-pedi appointments. When we arrived, another customer with a 1 PM appointment was already being told she’d have to come back another time. The nail techs we booked were still with walk-ins. When we asked the owner how long the wait would be, she just looked at us and said to ask the techs ourselves because she was also with a customer. I thought that was rude because she was at the front and not with a costomer in that momwnt. We asked the techs, they apologized and said we’d have to wait at least 30 minutes—and their tone made it clear this wasn’t their choice, but the owner’s decision to take walk-ins over appointments. It was awkward, disorganized, and unprofessional. We won’t be returning.

We typically get bio-gel shellac, pedicures, and eyelash extensions, and every service is consistently top-notch. The staff is friendly, and the results always leave us feeling pampered and refreshed. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for quality nail care and beauty treatments!
Very impressed and will continue going back! The salon is modern, comfortable, and very clean. All of the technicians are friendly and are great at what they do. Tammy is so kind and her attention to detail is impeccable. I always leave happy and will continue to recommend this place!
