I recently held my daughter's baptism reception at The Lake House. I was so happy with the entire experience. Heather and Chad were extremely helpful, patient, and accomodating. The venue was clean and bright, and the views of Lake Ontario and the marina were beautiful. The food was delicious and the service was oustanding. Thank you so much for a great day!
Everyone should get married here! The Lake House was absolutely spectacular: setting, atmosphere, service and staff! Chad and Heather are a phenomenal power couple team. They went above and beyond in ensuring our day went smoothly and were very fair and communicative leading up to our wedding. Our wedding day felt like something out of a dream. We were fortunate to have a clear and sunny day with the most spectacular sunset to be witnessed through windows encompassing the entire venue. We could see countless swans swimming by! It was especially special to have our wedding reception at the same location as our first date: paddle boarding together on Frenchman’s Bay. The opportunities for photos are countless and you will not need photo permits for any nearby parks or the waterfront. We had 17 tables altogether and 6 needed to be removed to make room for a dancefloor - it happened so fast and efficiently, as did the late night buffet. Absolutely will recommend The Lake House in a heartbeat! Zero regrets! Thank you Chad, Heather and all the wonderful and the staff for all of your hard work and for making our wedding something we will always cherish!

Homophobic. It’s a great venue and we really wanted to have our wedding here. We had a nice meeting and Chad was friendly. Then they didn’t return our calls for a week (multiple calls/email). We went into the space in person again after a week of not hearing. They told us they wanted to be transparent and that “they are Christian” but they can host the wedding there, they have no problem but they wanted to tell us in case we saw something on their Instagram page. This was obviously done to encourage us not to book with them. We are very disappointed as they are obviously homophobic and don’t believe in gay marriage. I guess since they can’t discriminate, this was their way of saying they are homophobic without saying it. Of note Chad and his wife just took over ownership this April. The previous owners hosted gay weddings before that were great.
Hi Paul I just wanted to thank you and your team for making today’s event so successful. Jackie and Chad had everything running seamlessly for us and were so helpful. It was a pleasure organizing everything with you and I would be happy to use your location again.
Where to begin!? From the very beginning, Paul and Chad have been nothing but amazing. They were super attentive to our needs and our billions of inquiries, always paying special attention to the fine details and getting back to us super promptly. We had been planning our wedding for a long time and we were initially to get married in August, however, due to my father's declining health, we had to push our wedding up to April 8th. Paul and Chad were so eager and willing to assist and accommodated for us without hesitation, even though this decision was made on such short notice. There was so shortage of good food, drinks and desserts. We had several guests that fasted and they were incredibly helpful with arranging when meals would be served - and the food was AMAZING. Make sure you go to the tasting. They have so many great items to pick from- And they have halal options! Moreover, the space was beautiful on top of it being in such a beautiful location - The water, boats, swans and breathtaking sunsets provide some gorgeous views. I'm hoping to update this review later on to provide some gorgeous pictures that were taken because words cannot do it justice! We truly ate, drank and laughed the whole entire night. Everyone had such a smile on their face. Overall, I'm so thrilled with how our special day turned out!!! It was literally our dream wedding. Unfortunately, my dad passed away just a 2 short weeks later but I'm so thankful he was able to walk me down the aisle and enjoy such a special time. I'll treasure those memories forever. Thank you Paul, Chad and the staff at the Lake House for an unforgettable day!
My daughter's wedding was held here in September. Everything went beautifully. The guests loved the hors d'oeuvres and the food especially the glazed salmon. Thanks Paul to you and your staff!
