Love Laura Secord and was so excited that there was a remaining location close by. This location, however, closes very early, 2 hours before the mall closes during some weekdays. Most people who work 9am-5pm can't make it here before 7pm. Instead of opening at 10am, maybe open later at 12pm then close with the mall at 9pm?
I recently visited this place hoping to enjoy a good scoop of ice cream, and while they offer a wide variety of flavors, I was disappointed with my choice. I went with the salted caramel, which unfortunately tasted stale and lacked the rich, creamy flavor I was expecting. For $5 a single scoop, I was hoping for something a bit more enjoyable. I haven't tried their chocolates yet, so I can't speak to that side of their offerings. Maybe there's better luck to be had there, but based on my experience with the ice cream, I'm not in a hurry to return.
The associate was very helpful. This business is Canadian owned. They have an excellent selection of confectionery. This place offers higher quality than chain grocery store candies, and the price reflects this. The visual appeal of these candies would be suitable for cake decoration.
What's better than Laura Secord's Chocolate Not much except maybe for Laura Secord's ice cream which is awesome. Staff are great here and will answer all your questions. Located in the Pickering Town Centre.
This is the best and only place I will ever get ice cream. The staff are extremely friendly and I love all the deals they have. I'm going to redeem my free ice cream from my loyalty card soon. I recommend either Rum Raisin or Strawberry.
Always a sweet treat. Nice friendly staff. The ice cream parlor is amazing with many flavors and the biscuit cones have variety. I recommend the chocolate dipped cone, but the plain biscuit cones are equally delicious. They have small chocolate packages for the calories conscious. Their season themed packages are also a great option for gifts. Overall 5 star rating.
