no elevator so the stairs should be clean, but no, they were horrible and doesn't look cleaned for days. Bad smells too, there are no windows. Door to my room on front and back so many fingerprints I was grossed out had to use my Kleenex to touch the door. Upon entering the room, I can see the stained and dirty glass on windows ahead. My friend downstairs also said their patio door was so dirty and hard to open. Nice white and thick duvet. Brown cover on the end is ugly. Nice pillows.
The staff here was VERY friendly!! My friend and I were on a ground floor and the AC was NOT working. It was very hot and disgusting...hard to sleep. They had no problem switching us to a new room. Again ground floor. The AC in the new room worked...but not long enough. It would turn on every hour/hour and a half. ..and stay on for less than 5 minutes. We didn't get much sleep as we were too hot. Other than that...the full breakfast was good...parking is free..and the girls at the front desk are very kind and friendly. We had friends who had a room upstairs and their AC was blasting..and they had full control over when and how long it was on. So if we ever come back (here for work) we will request a room upstairs. Other than our room...we had a good experience here.
I stayed the day and night at Comfort Inn, Pickering. This inn is very large, clean and very well managed.The staff are very friendly and helpful! The rates are reasonable. The Buffett breakfast is delicious and has a good variety of breakfast foods! The room I stated in was large and had two queen very clean beauty rest beds!
A beautiful and clean hotel. I was sleeping in my bed and police broke into the room and ARRESTED ME because I had overslept past checkout time. The hostess had come to the door earlier to ask that I check out or pay for another night, so I yelled through the door to just charge the card. I fell back asleep. She CALLED POLICE AND HAD ME ARRESTED FOR TRESPASSING. I was acquitted of the charges but I clearly said to her through the door to CHARGE THE CARD.
Nice clean room. Good location, close to many restaurants, and convenience stores. Complimentary breakfast was horrible. Small window (6am to 9am) and a very small dining area. Small room, not much seating. Very cramped, as everybody goes at the same time. Suggestion: bigger room or extend the hours!
