Food is always microwaved! No good! $30 for microwaves oxtailNot as authentic as they claim. Might fool all the people that don’t know better in pickering.SMH fix up guys. Food should be on hot plates visible not yall hiding in the back
The food is good, I've been here a few times. Very tasty! But they are horrible at picking up the phone. I normally go in to place my order and pick up, but I had some family over and wanted to call in advance. I tried five times over a 30 minute period with no one picking up, so we ended up going elsewhere. I've also ordered from Uber Eats but the Uber Eats menu doesn't have the same options as the website menu (eg. Curry chicken roti).
Yardies catered my Aunt's funeral and the food was delicious. They provided oxtail, rice and peas, plantain, festival, chicken salad, and steamed vegetables. I would highly recommend them at your next event.
Yardies has phenomenal food and great customer service. They recently catered for an event we were hosting and it was such a pleasant experience - transparent pricing on website, easy to place an order and delicious food awaits you! I would highly recommend Yardies!
I used to I used to love Yardies. Now , not so sure. Not sure if ownership has changed or what is going on. I ordered jerk pork (large) with oxtail gravy on the rice (none put on) , jerk pork sandwich and a festival and 2 hot sauces ( no hot sauce in bag). I ordered via uber eats ( first time) and it was an awful experience. I ordered through uber for the convenience as I live at the other end of pickering and my order didn't come how I ordered it. If I came in person it would have came out properly as there is accountability. Beware of uber eats orders. My review is for yardies. In my notes I asked for oxtail gravy on the rice , none on it and asked for 2 hot sauce in my notes , no hot sauce. This is not a responsibility of uber eats.
It was my first time having Jamaican food being a Bengali and I swear to God, it has become one of my favourite cuisines. The oxtail was so tender and fresh. It tasted like fresh cut beef with zero foul smell. I know what bad beef taste like but this was phenomenal. I know I am going to have the oxtail thousand times from Yardies. I want to try the jerk chicken next. Y’all doing great I am so happy.
Garbage, along with waiting almost 30 mins for my food (jerk chicken) it was more bones than meat. Will never go back, save your money and time go somewhere else
