A&W makes tasty burgers but they are the saltiest of all the fast food chains. Their fries and onion rings are lackluster but they have A&W root beer which is awesome.
I bought a burger for my kid. It was the worst experience. The bun had mold. Please do not come to this location, or you will get sick. This location is worth complaining about to the health department.
1 star out of 5. Very disappointed. I went on a long walk in the hot weather today, and I wanted to cool off in the mall with an iced cold soft drink. Strike one: their large drink was smaller than I expected, the size of a medium you’d see at other restaurants. Strike two: the drink I got was warm. Strike three: when I asked for ice, they said there’s no ice. They didn’t say “we temporarily have no ice”. Just simply “we don’t have ice”. I’m quite disappointed.
I decided to pick up lunch at A&W Pickering Town Centre yesterday. My grandson is a picky eater so I thought I could get him something he would enjoy, he is a burger / nugget kid. My order took a while to fill when it finally arrived I asked the woman for mustard, she walked into the back. After waiting a while I asked the young lady up front for the mustard. When she opened the door to the back the original woman I had asked was prepping food. They both spoke, the woman then comes out looks at me and said ‘mustard 30 cents’. Why not tell me that the first time I asked for mustard, instead of walking away and ignoring me leaving me to wait with a child who was hungry for something you never planned to give me. I will not return to A&W any location.
The service was very slow and there was literally hair in our food, the burgers were so stale, me and my partner both got sick after eating it, please do not come to this location or you will get sick and this location is worth complaining to the health department
Placed an Uber order for pickup and waited 20 mins for it. Ordering ahead of time doesn't matter, you still end up waiting. One girl working the front and one guy in the back, under staffed or what?
Slow slow slow slow. Thought for how slow they were cooking fresh. If that was so, the cheese would be melted. Wait is was not hot enough in the first place to melt the cheese. Fail.
