I needed my suit for next day. 5:30 was closing time, I was stuck in toronto traffic. I called he wanted the extra 10 min to give me the suit. Going to come here forever!
Avoid this place for your own stress!! Ruined my partners dress right before a wedding, had to take it to an actual professional and she said he completely ruined the dress, altered things that were not needed and didn't leave the fabric in so it was irreversible. Ended up spending more money on alterations then the dress was worth. He blame us/ the other lady, and was not willing to refund us.
Truly awful experience. I got a bridesmaid dress altered here, they RUINED it. I had to take it to another alteration place to try to fix it in under a week before the wedding. They shortened everything more than they were supposed to. They also didn’t leave ANY extra fabric in the dress. I went back to Gates Cleaners and Alterations, the man yelled at us and would NOT refund the money. He tried to blame us and say that we cut the extra fabric?
