This complaint concerns the conduct of the front desk staff, which ultimately prompted me to change service providers. The reception team speaks in a rude, condescending, and unprofessional manner. They do not return calls or follow up on requests: the doctor herself instructed me to follow up with her admin regarding a CT scan she ordered if I don’t hear back in a set amount of time (1 week, while the request was supposedly sent out over 2 months prior); I never received a response. I visited the office to check on documentation and forms required by my new provider; the staff told me there was little point in completing anything because I had “missed numerous appointments.” I requested clarification regarding which appointments they believed I missed. I attended every follow-up appointment the male receptionist claimed I missed; however, he spoke so abrasively that it felt pointless to explain that I had been physically present and that he should review the notes or system. The physician provides fine care. The administrative team, however, would benefit from professionalism, accuracy, and a willingness to perform their duties without idleness.
Myself, husband and 2 little girls and my mom have been seeing Dr. KHAN for many years. Dr. Khan has always been though all with our kids sicknesses. IF Dr. Khan isn't sure what illness or rash my kids have had and Before she provides a prescription she will ALWAYS refer to a specialist who can give a 100% accurate diagnosis and I appreciate that. Dr. KHAN is loved by our family......my little girls are excited when they get to see her as she is 100% trusted and reliable. We are so grateful we have her.
I would have given a zero star if i had the option. WORST MEDICAL CLINIC !!! I’ve had very disappointing experiences at this clinic, mostly because of the front desk staff. They’re consistently rude and dismissive, and hang up on you after shouting at you. Also, they don't communicate services that are not covered by OHIP. There’s no transparency about fees not covered by OHIP. I was asked to pay for a form by the receptionist after i left the office and they only accepted cash then when i came back then asked me to pay a higher price with no explanation. Then when i asked to talk to the doctor about this matter as nobody informed me that i needed to pay upfront for this form and it wasn't covered by OHIP, The doctor said it was the receptionists who handled pricing, while the receptionist blamed me that i had to know what wasn't covered by OHIP without communicating it upfront. They asked me to pay extra for the same form even though it hasn’t changed. This kind of back-and-forth and lack of communication is frustrating, especially when you’re already trusting them with your health. I’ve also seen them delaying sharing test results for no valid reason, insisting on extra visits just to charge more. The way the front desk treats people feels more like a business transaction than a medical office that actually cares about patients.
Where should I begin. Horrible receptionist very rude phones are not answered 90% of the time i had to go in personally to book appointment, and speaking of appointment if you're running behind a few mins that's normal but if I'm being seen 1.5 hours after my appointment time then there's something wrong with the whole operation. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CLINIC.
Family doctors are kind but getting appointment through calls are really difficult on weekdays from 9am to 2pm in between always it’s hold queue and never answered by anyone. Better to look for new family doctor clinic who can be reached and responds to calls for appointment booking when needed.
I want to review one of this clinic’s Doctors, Saghar Niaz. Saghar Niaz is a rude and disrespectful doctor. She does not know how to communicate with her clients. Therefore, I rated this clinic one star. Please kindly review your Dr. performance. She is against your code of conduct.
My family members and I have been seen by Dr. Khan and her staff at this location since it opened. I absolutely LOVE everything about Pickering Ridge and the services it offers. At the forefront of Dr. Khan's many services, are the compassionate and responsive approaches provided to individuals each and every time they enter the facility! I would not hesitate, even for a minute to recommend the clinic; however; based on the clinic's consistent, well informed, customer centric approach, the clinic has reached it's full service capacity. The clinic's ability to extend additional services, including walk-ins are no longer an option unless you are already a patient. A simple strategy implemented so that Dr. Khan remains 100% focused and committed to her current patient complement. I appreciate everything Dr. Khan and her staff do. I am confident in stating, "Those of you who are currently her patients would not waiver from having similar opinions!" My family and I are BLESSED!
