Really want to like this place because I can walk there from my work at lunch. Unfortunately they don’t give a shit about customers. Third time in a row I’ve been there and not even a hello. Not a peep. Unfortunate, I would like to spread my money to the smaller collectible stores but this one I don’t understand.
Hidden little gem of a comic book store. I've got many rare comics from here. Staff is excellent. Selection is amazing. Kids and the kids at heart will love it here.
Had been playing at this store for a fair bit always seemed fair and inclusive but this weekend told us they were full for an event so my 9 year old could not enter fair you are full. Come to find out they magically had 2 new spots added and when asking the store about it there was no room. I think it is extremely cruel to keep a 9 year old from playing!
Great store, friendly staff and fair prices. They also hold lorcana locals and I believe pokemon. Nice to be able to buy some tcg product local in pickering. They also have a wide selection of comics which they are mostly known for.
Decent selection but biggest drawback is the guy (owner?) seems either annoyed you are there and/or never interacts positively. Wrong business if you want repeat buyers.
Update - Went back for more! Love this place, they have all the new comics you need! Also they will order anything you need if you don't see it in store, be sure to ask them! A huge thank you to Heroic Dreams for my stack of Wolverine comics today! I need to come back for Moon Knight and X-Men very soon. One amazing comic shop and awesome staff. Happy to support local! Best hidden gem in Pickering.
Updating now that I’ve been an occasional visitor for over a year… this is one of the best stops in the GTA for card games. I’m hesitant to even post this because I want to keep the secret, but the staff are kind, and in an era of run away greed in the trading card hobby I’m continually impressed at these guys selling for fair prices. ____ Lovely store with a a solid pokemon offering (comics too if that's your thing)
