Extremely expensive. Has been this way for years. Not worth the money. It's almost criminal to be charging that much money. $20 for one piece of salmon and a tiny bit if white rice? You have got to be kidding. And, $15 for qinou salad that you can't even get 2 meals out of, and $10 for 3 butter tarts. One can easily spend over $60 for one meal. Cant feed a family shopping here.
I use to enjoy the weekly flyer, looking for deals on sausage, schnitzel and pork tenderloin. But the recent "specials" are anything but. Look at the latest flyer - top sirloin $17.99 (regular $22.99). Yes, that's the "special" price. I guess I'm buying my meat at Metro and Costco from now on.
I used to be along time customer until recently. I purchased a frozen entree from them a slow rosted pot roast for $23.00 for 4 or 5 slices of meat. It ended up in the garbage. It was tasteless and extremely tough. When I wrote to them explaining about the issue. I was told that a potroast is the cheapest cut of meat so I guess they were telling me I should have expected those results. They emailed me back and asked if I was a rewards card holder. I responded with my card number. They never even responded to my second email. I guess because I moved away they figured I wouldn't be buying again any ways. But every time i would go to the city I wou stop in and buy a few thing. I also got family members to pick up items for me occasionally. For 4 or 5 slices of meat and some tasteless gravy I would say that is pretty expensive roast beef. I will never buy another thing from that store again. Very disappointed.
There goes the price through the roof . Checking out the already overpriced sausage I noticed that when the sale that normally is 50% off still making it overpriced now the so called sale price is 30 % off . Overpay and attitude as well no thanks !
We live in the area and is so happy that Brunos is in our neighbourhood. We only buy our meats and fish here. Stores like Costco and Big Chains, the quality cannot compare with this store. Everything is top notch and tastes excellent. You pay more but the quality is exceptional. This store has made my life easier as a working parent with kids. Their meals are easy for kids to warm and eat. Healthy food made with love. Cannot put a price on that. I would be lost in life without Brunos Fine Foods. FYI best items are anything with "turkey" in it and their new signature marinade "black garlic" is to die for. This marinade is at another level. All salads are great, as their soups. Meat and Fish are top grade. Italian fresh pasta (imported from Italy), nothing like it anywhere!
Good selection but extremely overpriced and they have this weird covid policy where 2 people that live with eachother can't shop together but you could shop with stranger in a crammed space, also the cashiers are like children laughing and pointing at you. Very akward experience.
Purchased Cold cut meat sliced turkey and chicken.. it was very fresh and tastier than what you buy at any grocery stores. I will return back for more.. friendly staff and very clean place.
