On Dec 11th, we held our company Christmas party at this venue and it was a blast! The staff, ambiance, food and drinks all were wonderful! Thank you to Vanessa and the entire team!!
Venue owners were really nice and down to the point. No such thing as hidden costs or surprises. We had a planner named Lucky help my family and I out. She did an amazing job, from the first initial meeting to the day of the event. Very smooth process over all. Definitely recommend this venue for future events!
We had our wedding reception at the Pickering Event Centre and the experience was absolutely amazing! From start to finish, everything was handled so smoothly. Sachi and Vanessa were incredible to work with – they went above and beyond to accommodate us and made sure every detail was perfect. The staff were friendly and professional, and the service was top-notch. The food was another highlight – we chose Sri Lankan cuisine, and it was delicious! Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how good it was. The venue itself was beautiful, spacious, and created the perfect atmosphere for our celebration. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you to the whole team, especially Sachi and Vanessa, for making our special day so memorable. Highly recommend Pickering Event Centre for anyone planning a wedding or event!
This is a decent event space for a birthday, anniversary, shower, etc. quite spacious but dark and the chairs that were set up were very uncomfortable and wobbly. They felt quite cheap. The staff were nice but maybe just needed a little more training in etiquette like reaching across people. For instance, one of the servers was clearing our table and held the tray very close to my daughter's face and was reaching across everyone.
Would wish to extend our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to the team at PEC for providing an exceptional service and being such professional, friendly and hospitable staff throughout the evening and making the 16th birthday a memorable one for the celebrant. We have absolutely nothing but praise for everyone we encountered throughout the process. A special acknowledgment to Radhika for listening patiently and understanding all our requirements from the very beginning and for Sathya (one of the owners) who was present and accessible throughout the evening for being ever so obliging and accommodating, the chef and cooking staff for all the delicious dishes, the friendly and efficient serving staff and the lady who managed the bar and everyone else in the background who made it all possible. The venue location, prompt and ease of communication, ample parking, the quick access to-n-fro the 401 and the venue itself makes it an interesting pick. You were amazing.The birthday girl was very happy ! Thank you. Wish you the best in all your future endeavors.

We recently used pickering event centre for a business training meeting. We had a great experience! Although we booked pretty last minute, they were able to come through and make the event happen. The lobby was sufficient enough for the small group we had, and suited our needs. The presentation on the sandwich station we had was awesome and the food was great. It was easy to book and they were very accommodating. Would not hesitate to book another event there! Thanks again.
