My experience with Apex was during T Pride at the Bud Light Wellesley Stage, and it was truly exceptional. For context, I’m a violinist and have worked alongside many lighting operators, technicians, and sound engineers in live environments over the years. Apex stands out as a company that goes above and beyond, and my experience with their lighting operator, Pearl, was nothing short of phenomenal. I was in the booth to assist with directing lighting cues for one of the artists on stage, as I had created the music mix for their performance. Pearl, the lighting operator and technician, completely blew me away from the start. After discussing my role, the artist’s needs, and some of my past challenges in similar situations, Pearl immediately understood and asked if it would help to create a button for each cue. I was stunned! Their quick thinking and willingness to adapt to our needs made all the difference. Pearl worked with incredible speed and precision, creating individual buttons for each lighting cue so I could operate the lights seamlessly (while also doing a sound/light check for other artists too). They not only listened but also empowered us to deliver the performance we had envisioned by aligning the lighting perfectly with the artist's vision. When I made a mistake by advancing too quickly, Pearl calmly fixed it with a single button press and remained on high alert, ready to assist at any moment. Even after our segment, I stayed in the booth to assist with the visual operator and had the privilege of witnessing Pearl work their magic throughout the evening. They consistently delivered lighting that elevated every performance, giving each artist the production quality they deserved. Pearl is an outstanding lighting operator who truly goes the extra mile, and their dedication makes a huge difference in the industry. Apex, you’re incredibly fortunate to have someone as talented and committed as Pearl on your team. Pearl, thank you for everything - your professionalism and artistry were inspiring. I hope our paths cross again in the future!

Ignored emails, and never returned phone calls. I just wanted to do a rental. Went to their competitor instead and got taken care of in a timely manner. Never giving them my business or referring clients here.
Great staff, extremely helpful and always willing to go the extra mile so that we're taken care of. Their gear is always kept in top notch shape and always setup on time. I can't say enough good things about them.
